San Francisco Giants  player Melky Cabrera tested postive a few weeks ago for steriods. He in recent weeks has been apart of a devloping steriod scandal. Well the MLB is saying that they are unlikely to interfere if Melky Cabrera wins the NL batting title come the end of the season. Cabrera is currently serving a 50 game suspension. Cabera is currently hold a league lead, he is seven above Pittsburgh’s player Andrew McCutchen with a .346 average.

“We’ll see how it all plays out,” baseball Commissioner Bud Selig said Wednesday after taping an episode of “CenterStage” for the YES Network. “We generally don’t interfere in that process. We’ll take a look at it at the end of the year. You can’t change records because once you get into that it would never stop,” Selig said. “It would create more problems than it would solve.”
